The Space Wolves dedicated release is on the horizon!

Back and baring fangs in a massive new wave that has reinvigorated the iconic Chapter with fresh units, character updates, and one of the most striking codex supplements we’ve seen in 10th Edition. This release brings everything from new sculpts to veteran kits with major facelifts—and it's time we broke it all down.

Codex Supplement: Space Wolves

The heart of the release is the Codex Supplement: Space Wolves, a much-needed update that brings new Detachments, updated datasheets, and expanded lore for Fenrisian fanatics. If you're already running Space Marines, this is your must-have add-on. Just note: you’ll still need the main Codex: Space Marines to use this book.

And here’s a critical detail: the Collector’s Edition Codex is not available through third-party retailers. That’s right—if you want that foil-stamped beauty with black ribbon bookmark and gold-edged pages, you’ll need to buy it direct from Games Workshop.

Heroic Reinforcements

Logan Grimnar
Returning with a new model worthy of a High King, Logan Grimnar strides into the 41st Millennium with twin Fenrisian wolves and the mighty Axe Morkai in hand. The detailing on this 80mm centerpiece makes it a showstopper—whether he’s on your shelf or leading a charge.

Njal Stormcaller
A personal favorite from the lore, the new Njal mini brings elemental fury and psychic dominance. This updated sculpt is much-needed and reflects his status as a powerhouse Rune Priest.

Arjac Rockfist
Now finally in glorious plastic, Arjac brings Terminator heft and Iron Priest aesthetics. The optional throwing-pose Foehammer is a particularly fun touch.

Pack Leaders and Support

Wolf Priest
Equal parts Chaplain and Apothecary, the new plastic Wolf Priest model captures the grim spiritual aspect of the Wolves beautifully. Multiple build options give hobbyists some welcome flexibility.

Wolf Guard Battle Leader
A new plastic Lieutenant analogue, this kit offers robust options, including thunder hammers, storm shields, and an aggressive, heroic pose. An ideal kit for customizing sub-commanders.

Elite Veterans and Swift Killers

Wolf Guard Terminators
This unit rework breathes life into an aging kit with heaps of new options—relic greataxes, lightning claws, and even helmet choices that ooze personality.

Wolf Guard Headtakers
A completely new concept and a very flavorful addition. These assassins, accompanied by Fenrisian wolves, give Space Wolves a truly unique unit that’s as thematic as it is effective.

Battle Packs, Old and New

Blood Claws
Now fieldable in squads of 20, the redesigned Blood Claws kit leans hard into the lore: young, impulsive, and thirsty for glory. A fantastic value if you buy multiple kits.

Grey Hunters
The solid backbone of a Space Wolves army, this kit matches the Blood Claws in customizability but adds that hard-earned veteran grit.

Accessories & Support

Space Wolves Datasheet Cards and Dice
A practical pack for streamlining gameplay. The pearlescent dice are nice, though availability may vary.

Drop Pods (Dual Pack)
A surprise winner. This updated Drop Pod kit makes significant QOL improvements—permanently open doors and scaled appropriately to end table arguments. And yes, it’s a double pack now.

Final Thoughts

This is more than just a codex drop—it’s a full-force revival of the Space Wolves range. Long overdue plastic replacements, new units with strong identity, and a codex that finally gives the Chapter its teeth back.

For hobbyists, it’s a feast. For players, it’s a much-needed overhaul that ensures the Wolves of Fenris are not just viable, but vibrant in today’s game.

Just remember: If you’re after the collector’s codex edition, you won’t find it through your FLGS or favorite third-party site. That edition is Games Workshop direct only—so plan accordingly.

Whether you're a long-time fan of the Vlka Fenryka or a new recruit drawn in by snarling wolves and thunder hammers, this release is a resounding howl of approval.

Verdict:
Best Space Wolves update since 7th Edition. Loaded with lore, flavor, and plastic power.
Pick up the essentials while you can—these kits are likely to sell fast and be heavily allocated.

The wolves are on the hunt.
