Review: Ultramarines Combat Patrol and Upgrades

We know, we know – the community has been starved for Ultramarines releases! How have you managed? Fear not, Guilliman’s favorite sons are strutting back onto the scene, and this time they’re dripping in regalia.

First up, the Ultramarines Upgrade & Transfer Set – 69 (!) individual parts to deck out your infantry and vehicles in peak Macragge fashion. Helm crests, sculpted shoulder pads for everything from Phobos to Gravis armour, and enough laurels to make a Roman Emperor blush.

Even your tanks get the royal treatment with Ultima symbols in all sizes, ready to make sure no one mistakes your Predator for a drab, regulation-issue machine of war. Add in a massive transfer sheet with 255 decals, and suddenly your army isn’t just Codex compliant – it’s Codex perfected.

But wait, there’s more: the Ultramarines Combat Patrol. This bundle throws in the new upgrade set alongside a balanced spread of units – five Intercessors, five Reivers, three Aggressors, and three Bladeguard Veterans – all rallied under the watchful gaze (and psychic might) of Chief Librarian Tigurius himself. It’s a tidy starter force or a solid expansion for your existing collection, letting you smash face while looking impeccably on-brand.

Love them or roast them, there’s no denying these new releases give Ultramarines collectors plenty to celebrate. Both the Combat Patrol and upgrade set will be up for pre-order soon – so stay tuned to our blog, newsletter, and socials for updates when they go live.
