StarCraft Delayed...Again: What we know so far...
Unfortunately, it appears the StarCraft tabletop game has been delayed once again.
According to the latest information provided by our distributor, the release is now expected on August 24, 2026. This delay also appears to overlap with Archon Studio’s production and release of Trench Crusade: Carcass Front, which has faced delays of its own.
Unlike Factory Fortress, the creator of Trench Crusade, Archon has not provided retailers with a clear public explanation or meaningful guidance regarding the continued StarCraft delays. Most of Archon’s communication appears to be directed toward customers who preordered directly through them, leaving retailers and distributors with very little information to pass along.
At this time, our distributor has confirmed the new August 24 date, but they also appear to have received limited guidance from Archon regarding the reason for the delay or whether this date is firm.
This has been a particularly messy release. Communication has been limited, delays have often not been announced until the expected release date is approaching or passed, and in several cases we have only learned about changes through outside sources or by directly requesting an update.
We understand how frustrating this is, especially for customers who have been waiting patiently for their orders. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience while the situation continues to be sorted out.
Please reach out to us through our Help Center at help.wargameportal.com if you have any questions regarding this release. We do not currently have much additional information beyond what is included in this update, but we will answer your questions as best we can and provide further updates when reliable information becomes available.
Stay tuned to our blog as we will report more as we learn more.
