UPDATE 10/01/2026: Trench Crusade: Carcass Front Delays

UPDATE: October 1, 2026: Carcass Front Still Delayed

We have received a response from our distributor regarding the continued delay affecting Trench Crusade: Carcass Front. Unfortunately, they indicated that they are unable to share further information at this time.

This leaves us without a clear explanation for what is preventing our shipment from moving forward or a confirmed delivery date.

Our last confirmed update placed the Carcass Front inventory at our distributor. Since then, we have not received confirmation that our shipment has been released.

The delays also extend beyond Carcass Front. We have not received preorder inventory or shipments for new orders from this distributor in weeks, leaving a growing number of orders awaiting fulfillment across several product lines.

This distributor supplies us with products such as Trench Crusade, StarCraft, Magic: The Gathering, and other games. The interruption in shipments is affecting our ability to get those products into customers’ hands.

We have also explored alternative suppliers. Unfortunately, nearly every distributor capable of supplying the product lines we need is currently declining to onboard additional retailers. This limits our ability to move affected orders to another source.

We understand that distribution delays can happen, but the limited information available has made it difficult to provide customers with a reliable timeline. We share your frustration and would like to have more concrete news to offer.

At this time:

We have not received our Carcass Front shipment.
Our distributor has not provided a confirmed shipping or delivery date.
Existing Wargame Portal preorders remain active and reserved.
Customers may request cancellation through our Help Center.

We will update this article when we receive confirmed shipping information. Once inventory reaches Wargame Portal, our warehouse team will begin processing preorders as quickly as possible.

UPDATE: September 15, 2026: Carcass Front Delayed at Distributor

Unfortunately, after receiving some encouraging news early last week, we have another delay to report regarding Trench Crusade: Carcass Front.

The good news is that we can now confirm the product has reached our distributor.

The bad news is that it has not yet left their warehouse.

Our distributor has informed us that they are currently working through the Carcass Front order, but we have not been able to determine exactly what is causing the delay in getting the shipment released and sent to Wargame Portal.

This comes after we were previously told to expect delivery last week.

At this time, the inventory is physically in the distributor's possession, but appears to be held within their warehouse while they work through whatever internal processing or logistical issue is preventing the order from moving forward.

We do not want to speculate about the cause of the delay without confirmed information from the distributor.

What we can confirm is:

The distributor has received Carcass Front inventory.
Our allocation remains active.
The product has not yet shipped from the distributor to Wargame Portal.
We currently do not have a new confirmed delivery date.

This is obviously disappointing after the positive update we received on September 4, when we were informed that our shipment was expected to arrive by September 11.

We continue to monitor the situation and remain in communication with the distributor. As soon as the shipment is released and we receive confirmed tracking or a firm delivery date, we will update this article again.

All existing Wargame Portal preorders remain active and reserved. Customers do not need to take any action.

Once Carcass Front arrives at Wargame Portal, our warehouse team will begin processing preorders as quickly as possible.

We appreciate everyone's continued patience. This release has experienced several changes to its expected schedule, and we will continue providing confirmed information as it becomes available rather than guessing at another arrival date.

While we cannot confirm the anecdotes we are hearing of this being available at Local Game Stores across the country, we suspect other distributors have been able to manage to get it out. UPDATE: September 4, 2026: Carcass Front Arriving Ahead of Schedule

We received some unexpectedly good news regarding Trench Crusade: Carcass Front.

Earlier this evening, we received confirmation that our Carcass Front inventory was expected to reach Wargame Portal ahead of the previously anticipated schedule.

Based on the information provided to us at the time, our shipment was expected to arrive by the end of the following week, placing the anticipated arrival date on or before Friday, September 11.

This represented a significant improvement over the mid-September timeline communicated in the September 3 update.

We were also informed that our incoming allocation had increased. Because we were receiving more copies than originally expected, we reopened Second-Wave preorders for Carcass Front while quantities remained available.

All existing preorders remained reserved and were scheduled to be processed first once inventory arrived.

Unfortunately, as noted in our September 15 update above, the September 11 delivery window was not met. We can now confirm the inventory has reached our distributor, but it has not yet been released from their warehouse for shipment to Wargame Portal.

UPDATE: September 3, 2026: Carcass Front Retail Release Delayed Again

Trench Crusade issued a public update regarding the ongoing delay affecting Carcass Front, confirming that the problem was specifically impacting shipments to retailers and distributors.

According to their September update, posted on Facebook, orders placed directly through the Trench Crusade website had shipped, while retail inventory encountered additional logistical problems:

“Currently all pre-orders made directly through the Trench Crusade website have now been shipped. However, we have just been informed that unfortunately, there have been some issues with the shipments for stores and distributors.”

Trench Crusade provided its best estimate for when retail customers could begin seeing the product:

“The UK and Europe should start seeing Carcass Front on store shelves by next week.”

“The US and all other destinations should start seeing Carcass Front on store shelves the week after.”

For customers in the United States, this placed the expected retail availability window around mid-September, though this remained an estimate rather than a confirmed delivery date.

Trench Crusade also acknowledged the repeated delays affecting customers who ordered through local retailers:

“To all retailers, distributors and players who pre-ordered through your local stores, we are deeply sorry for the additional delay. Carcass Front is our first big release, and there have been some issues that we simply weren’t prepared for. Once again, we sincerely apologise for the delays: we are learning from our mistakes and we will do better in the future.”

At the time of this update, Wargame Portal's distributor had still not received its Carcass Front inventory, meaning we could not begin shipping customer preorders until that inventory reached the distributor and was subsequently delivered to us.

All affected Wargame Portal preorders remained active.

Trench Crusade also extended the Worldwide Campaign through October 19, giving customers waiting on retail copies additional time to participate.

UPDATE: August 29, 2026: Additional Distribution Delay

We received another update regarding Trench Crusade: Carcass Front, and unfortunately the release had been delayed further.

Our distributor confirmed that they had not yet received the product and, at that time, had not been provided with a confirmed arrival date from Factory Fortress or Archon Studio.

Because of that, we did not have a reliable date we could provide for when Carcass Front would arrive at Wargame Portal.

The previously announced August 31, 2026 street date was no longer expected to be met through our distribution channel.

We know this has been a frustrating release, and we have been frustrated with the situation as well. Between repeated delays, limited retailer communication, and uncertainty surrounding incoming inventory, there was very little additional information we could provide until the pro
