Continued Delays: Live Blog

Wargame Portal Customer Service |

[FINAL UPDATE: Wednesday, February 11, 2026] We are happy to report that we have crossed the finish line.

As of today, all "500 Worlds" pre-orders have been received and fulfilled, with the final shipments arriving at our warehouse this morning. If you were waiting on this wave, your tracking number should be in your inbox shortly (if it isn't already).

Restock Status: We are also seeing that general restocks are beginning to arrive at normal rates again. It appears that the vendor's backlog has been mostly resolved and operations are returning to standard lead times.

This blog post is now closed and will no longer be updated. Thank you all for your incredible patience as we navigated these extended delays!

[UPDATE: Monday, February 9, 2026] Finally, the dam has broken! We are now seeing confirmed movement on the stuck inventory.

Shipments containing the 500 Worlds second-waves and backorders placed before Jan 26th are currently in transit and scheduled to arrive at our warehouse tomorrow and Wednesday.

Fulfillment Plan: Once these pallets arrive, our team will immediately begin processing them. Please note that for the 500 Worlds specifically, orders will be fulfilled strictly in the order they were received.

Based on this movement, we suspect the backlog at Games Workshop is finally beginning to clear. We will have these out the door to you as fast as possible!

[UPDATE: Sunday, February 8, 2026] We wanted to give you a transparent look at where things stand as we wrap up the weekend. Unfortunately, despite our close monitoring and constant communication attempts,  restocks and Second Wave orders for the 500 Worlds release have yet to show movement from the Games Workshop warehouse.

We are observing a distinct split in operations at the Memphis hub right now:

  • Moving: New releases, such as second-waves for Kill Team: Shadowhunt and the first-wave Chaos Battleforces, are being processed as normal

  • Stalled: The backlog of general restocks and older pre-order waves remains stationary.

Immediate Action Taken: To prevent any further complications or uncertainty for you, we have made the decision to temporarily turn off a large majority of backorders in our system. We do not want to accept orders for items until we have a confirmation that operations have resumed as normal.

We will be following up with Games Workshop management on Monday to get further transparency on why the backlog is lagging behind new releases. We hope to have a concrete answer for you then.

[UPDATE: Thursday, February 5, 2026]
While there are no massive changes to report today, stock does continue to trickle into our warehouse.

We remain in constant contact with Games Workshop to gauge the timeline for full recovery. They have informed us that they are currently seeing a 4-5 business day delay on getting orders out to retailers and direct customers since they reopened. This tracks, but does not explain the continued delay in our second-waves for the 500 worlds release. No further information has been given.

This means that while the pipeline is moving, it is slower than usual. We will continue to keep you posted on all updates as we receive them.

[UPDATE: Tuesday, February 3, 2026] We are seeing tangible progress today! Shipments have started arriving at our facility.

Specifically, we are now receiving restocks from the week of January 19th, as well as the Second Wave pre-orders (for the 500 Worlds release).

While this is great news, please be aware that the flow of goods is not yet back to 100%. We suspect other items will continue to trickle in over the next few days rather than arriving all at once. We are processing these arrivals as fast as possible to get them out the door to you.

[UPDATE: Monday, February 2, 2026] We have just finished speaking with our reps at Games Workshop, and we want to be transparent about the situation: the backlog at the Memphis hub is extensive.

GW is currently prioritizing orders placed during the week they were closed. As a result, our restock order from that shutdown week was not processed until today.

Impact on New Releases (Kill Team): Because the warehouse backlog is so significant, we have been advised that shipments of Kill Team: Shadowhunt to retailers may also face delays. We are hoping these will still arrive on time, but given the volume they are working through, we want to prepare you for the possibility of a slight delay in us receiving—and therefore shipping—those new boxes.

We will keep you posted as we learn more.

[UPDATE: Saturday, January 31, 2026] Finally, some good news to start the weekend! We are now beginning to see confirmed movement from the Games Workshop warehouse.

The current activity appears to be focused on Second Wave pre-orders for the 500 Worlds release, which are now processing and hitting the carrier networks. We are hoping this indicates a continued clearing of their backlog over the coming days.

Konflikt '47 is also starting to roll in, so all non-preorder items for those will begin shipping starting this upcoming Monday.

Please Note: We have no indication yet that general restocks have shipped. The warehouse seems to be prioritizing the pre-order backlog first. We will update you again once we see the restock manifests populate.

[UPDATE: Thursday, January 29, 2026]

We want to keep you all in the loop, even though the news remains largely the same. As of today, we have no new updates regarding the reopening of the Memphis hubs.

You may see some inventory restocking on our site today. Please note: these are shipments that carriers picked up before the storm impacted the Games Workshop warehouse. They were already in the carrier network and have finally trickled through to us. It seems that carriers, at least, are beginning operations. However, the vendors themselves still seem to not be operating at this time.

Unfortunately, we have still seen no new movement from the Games Workshop warehouse in Memphis.

  • Second Wave Pre-Orders: These have yet to be processed.

  • Recent Restocks: The bulk of our restock orders from the last few weeks remain stuck.

We are checking the status constantly and will post again as soon as that freight starts moving.

[UPDATE: Wednesday, January 28, 2026]

We have just received critical information regarding the situation in Memphis. After reaching out to several vendors and port authorities, including Games Workshop, we have confirmed that warehouse operations in the region are shut down until conditions improve.

Games Workshop has informed us that they will remain closed until weather conditions improve significantly. Consequently, items currently transiting through or from the Memphis area are either completely stuck or moving at a snail's pace.

As previously noted, severe winter weather is impacting our supply chain. While we originally hoped operations would normalize by today, this new information confirms that delays will persist.

[ORIGINAL POST: Monday, January 26th, 2026]

We wanted to provide a quick update regarding the status of current second-wave pre-orders and incoming stock. As many of you know, severe winter weather is currently impacting large portions of the country.

The Situation in Memphis A significant number of our vendors, as well as our primary port of entry for imports, are centralized in Memphis, TN with many of other suppliers also affected by the storm in different areas. This area is currently experiencing hazardous road conditions and operational shutdowns, which has created a bottleneck in our supply chain.

What This Means for You Unfortunately, this has paused the movement of several key product lines. Specifically, we are seeing delays in the following areas:

  • Imports: Arrival of the new Konflikt ’47 kits.

  • Inventory: Restocks for our core product ranges.

  • Pre-Orders: The "Second Wave" pre-orders for the 500 Worlds.

Timeline for Recovery We are monitoring the situation closely. We currently suspect operations to begin returning to normal around Wednesday. However, with forecasts showing the potential for more severe cold impacting both our local area and the Memphis hub in the coming days, this timeline is subject to change.

We appreciate your patience as we navigate these supply issues. Please feel free to reach out to our Customer Service representatives if you have specific questions regarding your order.
