The pieces can be assembled in standard configurations to match prescribed terrain layouts or combined in different ways to create custom ruined structures and battlefield setups.

The terrain is also compatible with the Warhammer Battlefields: Terrain Area Set and free terrain templates available from the Warhammer Community website, allowing you to create Terrain Objectives for games of Warhammer 40,000.
