British automated warfare has advanced at a staggering pace, with new designs emerging from Bletchley Park faster than they can be produced. In less than a year since the first Mk I units saw combat in Belgium, entire platoons are now operating without direct human oversight, coordinated by advanced command units known as Automated Directors.
Built upon the Mk II chassis, these Directors feature enhanced computational cores and upgraded radio systems, allowing them to issue commands across a much wider operational range. They serve as the nerve center of fully automated platoons, coordinating movements, targeting priorities, and battlefield responses with machine precision.
In Konflikt '47, Automated Directors act as force multipliers, improving the efficiency and coordination of nearby automated units. Their presence enables a more structured, synergistic playstyle, where positioning and unit cohesion are rewarded. While they lack the adaptability and creativity of human commanders, they make up for it with consistency, reliability, and complete immunity to morale effects.
Fully automated platoons offer clear advantages, reducing human casualties and eliminating the psychological strain of Rift warfare. However, their reliance on pre-programmed tactics means they perform best under careful planning and deliberate execution.
