Witness the full horror of the Dropsite Massacre at Isstvan V in this Horus Heresy novel by John French. As Horus’ rebellion erupts into the open, the Imperium gathers an immense loyalist force to crush the Warmaster before his treachery can spread any further.
Rogal Dorn and Malcador the Sigillite dispatch a vast host of Space Marine Legions and Primarchs to bring Horus to justice. What should be a decisive act of vengeance instead becomes one of the darkest catastrophes of the entire Horus Heresy.
The loyalists arrive expecting to destroy the rebels, unaware of just how deeply Horus’ conspiracy has spread. On the blasted surface of Isstvan V, alliances collapse, hidden traitors reveal themselves, and the Emperor’s warriors find themselves trapped in a massacre designed to shatter the Imperium’s remaining unity.
Perfect for fans of the Horus Heresy, Isstvan V, the Dropsite Massacre, Rogal Dorn, Malcador, the Traitor Legions, and large-scale Space Marine warfare, this novel explores one of the defining turning points of the Age of Darkness in brutal detail.
