Follow High Marshal Helbrecht into a war of faith, sacrifice, and uneasy alliances in this Warhammer 40,000 novel by Mike Vincent. As the Black Templars confront the forces of Chaos, Helbrecht is forced to decide just how far he is willing to bend his convictions in pursuit of a stronger Imperium.

Driven by duty and belief, Helbrecht sees the possibility of an Imperium renewed and freed from the grip of the Ruinous Powers. To seize that future, however, he must rally the Black Templars alongside Elysian Astra Militarum forces and face horrors that threaten to consume everything they fight to protect.

Complicating the crusade is an alliance Helbrecht never expected to make. Circumstance places the Leagues of Votann at his side, forcing the High Marshal to work with warriors he regards with deep suspicion. For a leader defined by zeal, tradition, and uncompromising faith, that cooperation carries its own cost.

Perfect for fans of the Black Templars, High Marshal Helbrecht, Leagues of Votann, Astra Militarum, Chaos, and character-driven Warhammer 40,000 fiction, this novel explores the tension between conviction and pragmatism in an Imperium struggling to survive.
