Jagged rock formations and slick cavern floors are riddled with strange organic growths—chitinous sacs, hardened resin, and webbed-over tunnels that pulse with unnatural life. The walls themselves seem alive, throbbing with infestation as the hive expands ever deeper into the earth. These bases capture the suffocating dread of exploring too far, where the dark is not empty—but waiting.
