Kavalos Vanguard forms when the swift Deathriders of the Ossiarch Empire gather under the command of a Liege-Kavalos. These highly mobile formations strike far from the main legions, racing across the battlefield to claim vital territory and overwhelm the enemy before they can react. Accompanied by strange Teratic Cohorts acting as scouts and skirmishers, the Vanguard seeks out sites of power and secures them in Nagash’s name.
This boxed set is a great way to start a new Ossiarch Bonereapers army or expand an existing collection, while offering better value than purchasing the kits separately. At its head rides a Liege-Kavalos, a relentless commander mounted upon a Kavalos steed. The core of the force is formed by Kavalos Deathriders, swift cavalry who surge across the battlefield to strike enemies and seize distant objectives. Supporting them is a Teratic Cohort, a strange assembly of constructs ideal for holding ground and reinforcing the Vanguard’s advance.

The set includes several options for customisation. The Liege-Kavalos can be assembled as the legendary Arch-Kavalos Zandtos, a famed commander driven by a burning hatred for the living.
The Teratic Cohort represents a varied group of constructs. Each Mortek Cykloptian can be armed with either a glaive or a bident.
Among the Kavalos Deathriders, up to two can be built as champions, each with a choice of two faces, two helmet crests, two shields, and either a sword or spear. You can also assemble two standard bearers, each with two banner toppers and two helmet crest options. The remaining riders may be equipped with either a spear or sword, along with a choice of helmet crests.
