Backorder Policy for Wargame Portal

At Wargame Portal, we strive to provide a seamless shopping experience by offering a wide range of items for your hobby needs. To ensure clarity and efficiency in managing backorders, we have established the following policy:

  1. Backorder Duration Limit

    • If an item remains on backorder or out of stock at it's respective vendor for more than 25 business days,  the affected item(s) or entire order will be automatically canceled, and a full refund will be issued to the customer for all items that could not be fulfilled. 

  2. Special Order Items

    • Items designated as Special Order on their product pages are exempt from the Section 1 of this policy. These items are secured directly from our suppliers and require extended lead times. Special Order items cannot be canceled once secured from the supplier.
  3. Communication and Updates

    • Customers are encouraged to contact us anytime for updates on their backorders. While we do not provide regular updates per order due to the varying timelines from our suppliers, and order volume, we are happy to assist with any inquiries. We also have an Order Status tracker on the the order page in your customer portal.

  4. Refund Process

    • For automatically canceled backorders, refunds will be processed promptly through the original payment method. Refunds typically post to customers' accounts within 2–7 business days, but this timeframe is subject to the policies of the customer's card issuer or bank.
