The warp-fueled fury of Angron Transfigured is here, and it’s a sight to behold. His descent into a creature of pure rage has been beautifully captured in this stunning new Forge World miniature, marking his final, brutal moments in the Horus Heresy as he prepared for his fateful clash with Sanguinius before the Eternity Gate.
This resin masterpiece doesn’t hold back—every inch of Angron screams carnage. His wings are tattered and torn from endless battle, his body bristles with mutations and cruel barbs, and his weapons? They’re not relics of noble lineage, not tools of honor, but simply the Blades of the Red Angel—ruthless instruments of slaughter, just like their master.
But Angron was not entirely alone in his wrath. One of the few individuals to earn his respect was Lotara Sarrin, the unflinching captain of The Conqueror. She was everything Angron was not—level-headed, tactical, and respected by her crew. Even the XII Legion’s most bloodthirsty warriors knew better than to cross her.
Her presence in the game is just as fascinating as in the lore. While Angron is a battlefield monster, Lotara’s role shines in Zone Mortalis missions, where her void warfare expertise makes her a deadly asset. She may not match a World Eater in a blade-to-blade duel—despite being trained by Khârn himself—but she wields the Conqueror’s Bite with an iron will and tactical precision.
We really, really wish we could offer Forge World models in the store (seriously, GW, let us!), but for now, we’re totally fine just admiring these incredible sculpts alongside the rest of you. These miniatures capture the brutal, tragic grandeur of the Horus Heresy in perfect form, and we can’t wait to see them tearing up battlefields across the hobby.
Stay tuned for their official rules drop and release at warhammer.com later this year, but in the meantime—Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne!
