The denizens of Commorragh are back in force, and Games Workshop has finally unveiled what many Drukhari fans have been waiting on – a new Codex, new characters, and a wave of models that lean into everything cruel, fast, and venomous about this army.

Codex: Drukhari looks set to be a real shake-up, not just a rules refresh. The new Power from Pain mechanic now feels more dynamic, letting you spend points to trigger datasheet-specific abilities, which adds a layer of tactical cruelty perfectly suited for the Drukhari playstyle. With five Detachments included, raiders will have options to tailor their force from poisoned blades and lightning-fast strikes to the grotesque horrors of the Haemonculi.

The big lore reveal here is none other than Lady Malys, the infamous Archon of the Poisoned Tongue, finally making her tabletop debut. Long hinted at in the background, she now steps forward as a master manipulator with both lethal combat prowess and sinister tricks to reposition her forces before battle even begins. Her model looks every bit the sharp-edged, poison-drenched tyrant her legend promises.

She doesn’t arrive alone—GW is also giving us a brand new plastic Archon kit that’s clearly intended to be the definitive centerpiece for any Kabalite collection. With alternate heads, bodies, and wargear options, it’s refreshing to see such versatility in a character kit.

The Realspace Raiders Battleforce is another strong release, packing in a little of everything that makes Drukhari tick: Wyches for melee frenzy, Kabalite Warriors for ranged poison, Hellions and Scourges for speed and harassment, Incubi for precision slaughter, and a Venom to tie it all together. For anyone looking to dive into the faction, this is as well-rounded a launch box as you could hope for.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, the new Combat Patrol: Coven of Agonies doubles down on flesh-crafting monstrosities. A Talos, a Cronos, Wracks, and a Haemonculus offer a grim, body-horror style army that contrasts nicely with the speed and elegance of the Kabals. It’s a thematic expansion that reinforces just how broad the Drukhari aesthetic can be.

Overall, this reveal is exactly what the faction needed—new rules that feel tailored to their lore, long-awaited named characters, flexible kits, and starter forces that actually feel like the raiding parties you’d expect from Commorragh. For Drukhari players, old or new, it looks like Games Workshop has finally given the Dark Kin the spotlight they deserve.
